Staying true to form, Games Director Dave Castro added a twist to one of the movements in the 2018 CrossFit Open by changing the requirements for the Handstand Pushup. In doing so it created a disadvantage for a certain percentage of our population who have some anatomical differences. One of those being 3 times Games Athlete Jacob Heppner.

Episode 12: Rep Shaving in CrossFit
In the middle of a workout, there have been plenty of times where I have lost count of my reps or rounds or even my first name. It happens to all of us as we endeavor to become better versions of ourselves. However, have you ever encountered a situation were in the post WOD haze, you thought someone might have cut down some reps just to show up higher on the leaderboard?
In Episode 13: Rep Shaving, Bro and I record our first user submitted topic! This was one of the first questions that landed in our inbox during the initial launch and we finally had a chance to get behind the mics and talk about it.
We share our thoughts on a not often discussed topic, but more importantly, the secondary impacts this behavior could have on your community.

In our CrossFit journeys, we experience a lot achievement. Setting a new PR, the first time you beat the time cap, the first time you get to do birthday burpees! All of those things are significant milestones. However, we all get to a point where we “Hit The Wall” and things become less exciting then they were 6 months ago. Sometimes we even get to the point where it’s not fun anymore and we simply feel burnt out.
In this weeks released, Mo and Bro talk about their personal challenges they have faced with burnout. They talk about some of the signs and symptoms, and also give you a few things to think about when you find yourself in this situation. Hopefully the guys can help you learn just a little something from Episode 12: How To Avoid Burnout.
